  • Abstract: In recent years basketball has changed as a sport due to recent changes in the rules and development of the game and the players. The game has changed in to faster and more physical direction. Numerous physical performance analyses have been carried out in basketball throughout the years. However, there is a lack of recent knowledge about technical and tactical aspects of modern basketball. Thus, the purpose of this study was to analyze the technical and tactical aspects of basketball in three different levels: Finnish League, national team and Olympic level. The purpose was also to gain information of the games played by national team of Finland and Finnish club teams in order to develop the Finnish basketball.
